Brit,
I'm sorry you took my post so harshly - it wasn't my intent (as I said in my PM to you). I'd written my original post quickly, but basically meant what Aimee was kind enough to take the time to write out in detail. Best of luck to you, I do hope you come to realize that we don't mean any malice towards you and are just trying to guide you along in starting a business in a way that won't hurt you in the future.

Hi! I just wanted to chime in and say that I was once publically flogged when I was new too and was reduce to tears by Jim Bryant (sorry Jim but it was along time ago now lol) but if you can just dust yourself off and hang out here you will learn loads and trust me you are not the first and will not be the last to get your ass beat! It happens all the time but we really are a friendly bunch and the more seasoned photographers like Susan and Jim have vast amounts of experience and knowledge and are willing to share it too
So often people get defensive and leave the site and its a pity.Heck when I was "new" I had a website and all sorts of stuff going on even though I didn't have one single client lol! but like Jim advised me like in 2009 to really learn and spend time perfecting all the techniques and really get to know my camera even changing the settings with my eyes shut. Good luck to you and its wonderful that you are so enthusiastic! Don't be put off. Like that wartime motto: Keep Calm and Carry On
