Default How to remove blurred foreground grass

I have access to lightroom and photoshop CS5 but am fairly inexperienced with them. I would like to remove the blurred grass that is in the foreground. Is there a fairly simply way to do this? Or is can someone direct me to a tutorial, I have tried doing google searches but was unsuccessful. Thanks!

This doesn't look like beginning photoshop material... The water/rock areas you could cover over pretty easily, but the areas with more detail (in the ducks face) you'll probably need to go with adjustments to the color in those areas and try to blend it as best possible. This is not an easy fix...

you can remove the blurred grass by selecting the grass with quickmask and a very soft brush and brush the blurred area and exit quick mask, and put it in another layer. adjust with hue and saturation and levels to merge with the original bg image. use the sponge tool, desaturate to fine tune. select the nearest ducks and apply highpass filter to sharpen a bit.

Well I think second poster is right. I don't know too many of those techniques. I guess I have to learn sometime though. Thanks for the direction though I'll give it a shot.

The posted edit is likely the best you will see as the image data is corrupted by the grass. As in you lose texture of feathers and such. See how the ducks are uniformly brown in the grass edited parts.

Good luck

Jim

after reading jfsanders' post, who has an eye for details, i realized that i did not edit the ducks. you can still enhance it with the combination of dodge and burn tools and the sponge tool.
