you can copy layers (like an adjustment layer or a mask), you can copy layer styles, and, depending on how you created it, even selections... But when it comes down to the work down with a brush or a clone stamp or any freehand tool -nope.

If you're going for higher resolution, the last thing you'll want to do is layer the low-quality image on top.
You say they are all curves adjustments, so that should be very easy to copy and paste. Just open both in photoshop, holding control to grab all your curves adjustment layers from the original file, then go to your high-res image and paste those layers in. If you don't have the original .psd file (which...it's beginning to sound like you don't) then yea, you'll be out of luck as far as an easy fix - but you'll have the old file as a reference at least. |
