I'm sort of confused here. Granted, I'm a Nikon user, and haven't ever used the Canon EOS software, so I don't know if it does any sort of grouping or anything like that, but your bracketed shots will be three separate images. Have you tried just navigating to the memory card, and checking for the three individual files?

I think I'm just not explaining this right. Maybe this will help.
When I download to the EOS Utility this is what I get: It shows that this is a bracketed image in RAW format. When I open it in Adobe Bridge, this is what I get...just one image (It appears it is the darker of the three bracketed shots) And then when I open with the Camera RAW I get this...just one image. Maybe this helps to explain it? On the "feeling really stupid" scale I'm almost at redline! Thanks!

Hmm, I see what it's doing...I just don't know how to fix it. I don't usually use the manufacturer's software for managing images; lately I've been using Windows Live Photo Gallery to handle that sort of thing (Lightroom is really slow on my computer...I need to upgrade).
My recommendation is to bypass the Canon software for now (I'm sure there's a simple explanation, I just don't know it) and just import all the files by hand. You should have three separate RAW images: one for each exposure. I think the Canon software is just recognizing the bracketed sequence and displaying it as a group. Maybe someone else will chime in with a software-specific fix. Good luck! |
