Default Help pls with ps action!!!!!

I hope somebody can help me, as I dont know where to look anymore!!!!

I am only starting my photography career at the moment, mainly taking family / portrait / wedding shots. I am really struggling to get my colour photos to look like something. I come accross various other photographers that use actions to get their colour photos looking a certain way. Can someone PLEASE help me to find a similar action to get my pics' colour right. Please have a look at the bottom example. (under Family Vacation)
At the moment I have a Nikon D60 with a Sigma 18-200mm. I know its not the best, and it will not look as the attachment below, but I need some sort of colour action like this.

Please please please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look for something similar to a vintage action then apply it to images that are very bright/overexposed.

It actually doesn't look like an action was used, to me. It doesn't look vintage at all, just very overexposed with a bit of a color pop.

There's a plethora of actions that photographers use and/or create on their own. Check out Totally Rad, they are oft used by photographers and also PhotoTools. Additionally, loads of actions can be found at the Adobe Exchange, you just need to explore.
