Default Exporting images as max resolution printable to 8X10

Hi there,

I'd like to export my images from lightroom and have them be a max printable resolution of 8X10 (sending to client and don't want them to be able to make prints larger than 8X10).

If I change in lightroom on the "image size" to 8X10, then it messes up the horizontal and vertical (they wont print the same).

Is there an easy way to do it?

Thanks in advance!

I dont know Lightroom, but if you can adjust resolution just got for something that's roughly 800x1000 or 1200x1500 in pixel size. That gives 100 and 150PPI prints

I don't have or know Lightroom specifically, but there are resizing options in most of the Adobe programs that let you choose something like "retain aspect ratio" or "constrain proportions" so you don't distort the image.

Here's something from the Adobe online support pages for Lightroom that looks like it might help:

Specify export image sizing
