Default Cyanotype - Creepy dead tree

Just wanted to take 2min. to share how I ended up with one of my favorite shot

This is the original RAW picture exported in JPEG without any adjustement:

Original Shot

I used Lightroom to get the next picture

- I selected the Cyanotype preset.
- Croped a little bit.
- Dropped the clarity to -100.
- Increased the Light Tones to 20 to get brighter clouds.
- Increased the Dark Tones to 40 to get a brighter water.
- Decreased the shadows to -50 to get a darker tree / background / foreground.
- Increased orange, yellow and green Gray Level to 100 to increase what was floating around the tree.
- Decreased the blue, purple and magenta Gray Level to -100 to get a darker sky.
- Added a little bit of sharpening
- Added some vigneting to increase the dark look of this picture...
... et voila !

Afterlife

Enjoy everyone

Love the eerie, desolate, abandoned feeling you've created! Thanks so much for sharing your technique..

Wow. Nice work! Looks like an evening shot in the dead of winter. Thanks for the step-by-step on how you achieved the effects.
