Default Printing on Canvas?

Hi!

I really want to do some prints on canvas and since it's pretty expensive I want to make sure I do it properly.
Has anyone had any experience with canvas prints?
I'm just wondering if there's anything different you should do post-processing wise, in order to prepare the images.
eg. is it better to sharpen them more than usual?

Thanks,

I print on canvas all the time. You can either do photos or make “art” with a filter (water color, colored pencils, sketch, etc.) or do a digital painting.

Sharpening is subjective. Depends on what you like.

You should export your photos in sRGB format and set the Photoshop print settings to “canvas.” Do not let the printer handle printing, let PS or Lightroom do that. You should probably adjust the thickness lever of the printer paper guide.

No doubt you will have to experiment.

Go to the print company's website and see what format and color space they want you to deliver the photos.
And generally prints can handle loads more sharpening than screen can before it becomes distracting.
