Hi everyone,
This SOOC shot has a really bad yellow cast. And it is driving me insane! Is there an easy way to fix this? Or do I need to selectively fix the colour via levels and curves....? All your help would be greatly appreciated! Would be nice to be able to fix this one, even if it is a LOT cheesy! ![]() Thanks! Ari

Thanks for your help, know it's not the white balance, the yellow (I think) is from the sun hitting the grass. I always shoot in raw, and have had a play with the green/magenta balance as well. The yellow is worst in the shadows around his mouth and the right side of his face.
Cheers - Ari

In Photoshop add hue/sat adjustment layer. Go to yellows channel and bring down the saturation. After that make another hue/sat layer and bump up the master sat at bit... or use whichever method you want to boost the saturation and colors back to where it was before.

hey there, im thinking it may be the green that is the issue and not the yellow. you say the sun is bouncing off the grass so its gonna be picking up some colour from it.
its a real cute shot and just a tweak in the right place will really complete it. have a go at reducing the saturation on the greens, or if you use lightroom try moving the tint slider towards magenta. it will be a bit tricky though as its not a traditional white-balancey kind of issue if the grass is in play.

Desaturating the greens won't do much since there isn't much green in the image to begin with so virtually it does nothing. Sliding the magenta/green towards magenta will make the image more red. Blue/yellow slider kinda works though.
