I think the assumption abhijith.rao was making is that you did your PSD to JPEG conversion with the Gimp. If you do "Saving for the web", the Gimp strips out all EXIF data. If you use "Save As", there's a checkbox, where you can tell it whether or not to leave the EXIF intact.

Ok, in that case, I misunderstood. Haven't tried Gimp. I thought he was referring to Photoshop.

The Gimp is open source (read: free) and cross platform---it's what a lot of folks use when they don't have Photoshop.
