Hey everyone. I have a photograph due for a class. I've got everything just about where I want it minus cropping but I'll leave that for last. The big thing I need to fix is the model's sunburn. I use masks often with my images but I'm not quite sure how to takle the problem with the sunburn. Has anyone done something like this before? Here's the image.

This may sound stupid but bear with me lol ... I have read this article on luminous landscapes using a saturation mask to help fix clipped channels. And sunburn is a higher saturation of red in the skin so maybe this could work anyways heres the link: Restore Those Clipped Channels
Would be great to hear the results and how you manage to fix this

You can try masking the selected area, and feathering it a bit so it blends better. Then go into color balance, and move the slider with the red on one end towards the opposite direction.
