I posted this same issue a few days ago, but I have new information now and an example.
I use beta2 LR3 to adjust the colors in the original jpegs. I export to jpeg in sRGB colorspace. The colors look right when viewed in lightroom or any windows viewer, but look dark and reddish when viewed in the picasa viewer, or uploaded to picasa, facebook, or blogger... the 3 ways I choose to share my photos. I feel like I've tried everything I know of to get them to look right, to no avail. And I really don't like the idea of sharing dark, reddish photos of my niece's baptism with the world, or even family. This comparison was done with screen captures.

It seems to me that Adobe was saving some kind of color profiles with the image, that only it could read, the other program seems to be ignoring it. In my case, I found that the same jpg file looks great in adobe bridge & camera raw, but looks like the color is off in other programs. Can someone that has more experience with this help us? Thanks. |
