I love CS5.

I've had every version of PS since 4 for PC and this is by far some of the better additions to PS that I've seen in a release so far!
CAF is pretty good when used correctly, it's got an 80% success rate for me so far... but also the selection refining is incredibly helpful for extractions (which I do a lot of!) and repairs.

But depending on what you do with PS will depend on some of the other features that I'm in love with are useful to you or not... I love that you can drag and drop straight into your active document now.
I love that when you do drag things in, the layer is named with the filename - makes layer tracking SO much easier.
It's also useful to know that when dragged in, you can uncheck a preference to stop them being made Smart Objects - although the way PS deals with Smart Objects now is awfully useful in itself!

I am also a huge fan of Mini Bridge!
Having Bridge built into PS now is incredibly time-saving!

Some things I don't like though..... the Save To Web bug which is my most used PS tool.
They need to hurry up and darn well fix that one!
Also I dislike the memory leaks it appears to have in W7 64-bit.
I've found its best to close it when it's not in use, as it seems to hold memory for WAY too long which I am not liking one bit. It also takes a good 3-5 minutes to release the memory once you have closed the program. Too long IMHO!
Come on Adobe, get it together!

So I'm playing with a trial of CS5, loaded my brushes into it... I can't see them! They are so tiny weenie... Is there anyway to make them display bigger? The CS5 display also shows them if you used your brush like a real paintbrush, a 'swish'... but so many of my brushes are used more like stamps... I can't even tell what they look like!

The brush options are Fan-freaking-tastic in terms of new features! I can't wait to try them out, but I can't make out which brush I'm picking because they are so small...

EDIT: a tiny menu button on the right side of the brushes menu brought up a screen with all the brush names on it, and also the option for "Large Thumbnail"... My apologies for not being able to better describe where I found it, but it's late, and it took me another 5 minutes to even reproduce how I found it.

My brief (and only) beef with CS5 so far... Content Aware Fill is so awesome, that I don't feel like I can brag about my Mad Photoshop Skillz anymore.

Normally, I flash back and forth from pre-processed to post-processed, showing off what I've removed or touched up. And I hoot and hollar about how difficult it was, and aren't they impressed with my Awesome Abilities...

Now, I kinda feel like I'm faking it.

Not that I mind, and it will free up a lot of time to improve other PS skills I've been wanting to work on...

But yeah, Content Aware Fill has taken the Awesome out of my Awesomesauce.

It's fine, but I can definitely survive without it.
