Default CS4 Issue, help please

Hey guys and gals,
When I open CS4 on my Macbook Pro the background shows my desktop or whatever program I have open. Am I missing something?

not sure if this is the case with Mac's version, but you have nothing to loose.

In PS click on Window > arrange > consolidate to tabs , this should put the photo(s) in a tabbed window, you might need to maximize the window too.

That's just how Macs are.... The workspace is transparent so you can easily switch between programs. Try hitting the "F" key. That toggles full-screen edit.

On the top menu bar, there is a button at the end of the icons that is a rectangle with arrows point away from the 4 corners. That will toggle your view options. Choose the middle one.
