Need advice on Vignetting

I'm still rather new to digital photography and currently use Picasa 3 for post-production (I'm planning to invest in more advanced software once I buy a camera that offers the raw format image option).

Could anyone please tell me if Picasa 3 can do vignetting? If yes, may I know (briefly) how I can do it?

There are a million ways of doing a vignette. The best way would be to use a RAW editor to do it "naturally", but you can do it at the pixel level.

I don't know about Picasa, but you could download Gimp for free and follow this tutorial

Thanks. Unfortunately my camera doesn't let me save in RAW format. I'll try other methods.

Thanks. I've downloaded GIMP. Let's see what I can do with it. I presume it's a lot more powerful than Picasa.
