Cs3 - broken jpg file

I am trying to delete some files on my computer and it wont let me. when I open in zoombrowser, it looks like its a broken jpg - when I try to delete from cs3, its says I do not have oermission to delete and when I try to delete in zenfolio, it says its deleting and of course it does not

any help will be appreciated...

What are the files attributes?
ie; Are they set for read only?

Can you rename the files and then try to delete them?

Check to see that the files are not being used by any other program.

Assuming you are using Windows, read HOW TO: Delete an Undeletable or Locked File and/or try UNLOCKER 1.8.8 BY CEDRICK 'NITCH' COLLOMB (no experience with software).

have you tried to delete the file from the folder that it is in with out opening it in a viewer??
