Default 'Mug Shots' 4 'Rogues Gallery' at work

Last week I was asked if I would take photos of staff to put on the 'Rogues Gallery' to help our guests get to know who's who. I took pictures of 10 folk on Friday. Here are two differing shots of the same young lady (permission given to include in this post).

So my question is which style do think is most appropriate

While at work she would normally have her hair tied back.

Hi Richard, she looks more natural in No 2 for me. Not quite sure exactly how it's going to be used, but both are great. PAUL

the first is "better"
IE, more appropriate

but you need to position her head to the teeth look straighter, in the second image they loko fine, in the first image they are crooked..
so choose the subjects "best" side

however, the first looks like it has motion blur too...
so keep that shutterspeed up

i find the second one too close, head and shoulders to me is a bit more natural and doesnt emphasize facial blemishes as much.
