Hey everyone,
This was my first outdoor family photo session. This picture was there son running on the train tracks at the park. It was the first time I ever converted a picture to Sepia. Please leave me any comments on how I could make this better. ![]() EXIF DATA Nikon D3000 55-200MM lens Focal length 55mm F/4.5 Shutter Speed 1/100sec ISO Speed 200 Metering Mode Pattern Hansen 10-24-10 183 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! I love the subject and you caught him in mid-stride, which gives a sense of real movement. The curve of the tracks also helps the viewer move through the photo. However the figure of your son seems pale and washed out in comparison to the mass of the tree, which definitely drew my eye more. I'm not sure if it's because of the use of the sepia or whether there's not enough contrast. I'd be curious to see the original to see if he is more eye-catching.
Great job for a first outdoor session! You have a knack for catching a moment! |
