Default Colour problems

I took some shots in the shade and everything turned out a bit green. I tried to fix it but I just got photoshop and I don't really know how to use it yet. My monitor also isn't calibrated. Any suggestions on how to fix the wb would be great. All other C&C welcome.

I think the photo looks very nice. It does have a greenish feeling to it. But I think it is because of the leaves of the trees that it came out this color and I like it.

it looks like your model is at the very edge of the shade and that possibly the color cast is due to the sunlight reflecting off the grass in front of her......

i made a quick color correction in ps with the levels adjustment layer.....i first hit the auto button to see where it would take me.....this added a little contrast and began to take out the yellowish tint......to go further, i selected the blue menu from the same adjustment layer and slid the midpoint to the left to introduce more blue and less yellow.....

to compensate in camera the next time this scene is before you, i suggest you drop the exposure a tad and hit your model with a bit of fill flash....it will override the natural color cast with a more blueish daylight light reading......

pretty girl!.....sweet pose.....

I dont see problems on the color my friend. Maybe you want to come up on a more natural looks or skin tone. I'm using CS4 and to correct the color of your picture go to adjustment and try to use a different color filter. You can use blue filter, but for me I suggest you use sepia filter.

This shot is nice my friend. Will try to edit my version when I got home.

Back to work. ^__^

Thanks for the comments. I am still working on where to find everything in ps that helped a lot.
@ denskii05 I would love to see your version.
