Did you crop this photo at all? I think it would look better if the subject were more to the right and there was more space on the left. The dark arm is distracting to me for some reason. Maybe if it were lightened it might blend better. I like the colors and the water though.

It looks like you shot these in mid-day sun, try to shoot in the shade or in the early morning or late evening so you don't get squinty lines and harsh shadows on the face. I like #53 of your set. Very sweet, and the lighting isn't distracting.

Thanks Mandy! Actually, these were shot around 5:30 in the afternoon, but we were on a lake with the sun setting across the water. We took these in a public park, but managed to keep her pretty private. I didn't realize how much the wrinkled black cloth was going to effect the photo...still learning these things!
