Default k20d shutter release

Is there any good reason to purchase a cable shutter release for the k20d if you have a remote release?

Not sure it's a VERY good reason, but K20D only has a front sensor for the remote. If there's some reason that you need it to trigger from a short distance behind (but can't reflect or reach around to trigger it), then the cable is handy.

Default Thank you

Thanks for the info, Mr. Guy, but my K20D has sensors on both front and back. I suppose there isn't a good reason to get the cable release.

The cable release can be locked so you can take unlimited length long exposures in bulb mode; 10 minutes if you want. The remote can only take standard length shots up to 30sec.
