    Default Splash

Just thought I would share this picture I took last night. I was practicing taking pictures of water drops and after about 200 shots this is one of about 5 that I'm not that embarrassed to post. I rather like it. I still got a lot to learn. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

    Thumbs up splash

Good job! I like it. I like the devotion as well. In the thumbnail I thought there was a guy in the water, turns iut it was the splash. Looks like acua man or something.

A beautiful shot. I can see a Lady in a long gown with her head bowed. I have never tried droplets apart from when I was making blackberry & apple jelly a year or so back. You have inspired me to have another try. TFS

Thank you septicmike for your kind reply and welcome to the group. Most people that see this shot have a similar response about looking like a human figure. I wish I could take credit for that but splash shots are like snow flakes no two are the same. The only difference is ALL snow flakes are beautiful where as splash shots are 1 in 200 in this case.
Thanks again for your reply and have a safe New Year.

Thank you for your kind reply. My wife said it reminded her of a Japanese lady in a Kimono. Those shots you posted had my mouth watering. It's breakfast time here in Florida and some of that homemade blackberry jam would be a nice complement to my wifes wonderfully toasted bread. Have a safe New Year and I look forward to seeing some of your inspired shots.
