Phil, picture 2 shows one of the newer landmarks in Jerusalem, the Chords of Jerusalem light rail bridge, designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2011 along with the light rail system in Jerusalem. The bridge was designed to give the impression of David's harp as well as that of a tent in the desert.
