..i love leaves..they are beautiful no matter what the state they are in.. the shot signifies promise of good things to come..the DoF is great..tnx for sharing Ian..

If these are what they look like Ian, they were a big part of mine and my kids childhoods...they were like helicopters...and when green we would open them up and put them on our noses....ok...we didn't have a lot of toys...we have to create some...lol

very nice capture, sittting here in the quiet i can hear the rustling of the brown seeds in the wind, good job.

Hi Jennie .. these are the seed pods of the Maple .. depending on the variety they drop throughout the seasons .. I guess these wait for spring .. glad you liked it
