Default what are you using to carry your camera?

i think i'm in the market for a new carry-all. i have a lowepro-like topzoom which carries my camera w/ 17-40, battery charger, extra memory cards, and that's about it. i also have a lowe-pro slingshot 200AW, but was thinking of getting a backpack this time around.
it needs to carry an XT w/ battery grip, at least 3 lenses (prime, wide angle, tele), two flashes w/ receivers, filters, batteries/charger, memory cards, and a space for a sandwich would be nice too tripod attachment would be even better.

what are you guys using to lug around your gear?

A Lowepro Slingshot 100AW... but I haven't got nearly as much gear as you!

I'm using a Lowepro Nova 5. It will easily hold 2 camera bodys, and 4 lens up to 8.5" long. Or one body, and 6 lens. Has pockets everywhere.

I bought mine here.

Cant beat $57.99 and free shipping. I recieved it 4 days after ordering it.

I'm using the Canon backpack. It's about $65, and it holds a TON. I typically load it up with my XT with 400mm attached and four or five additional lenses, two filters, a wired remote, a lens pen, cards, batteries, a tripod collar, a panohead, and a tripod.

The downsides are that 1) you have to rip the Canon logo off if you don't want it to stick out as a photo backpack, 2) the removable straps on the bottom for securing a tripod are a pain, 3) it's not weather proof, and 4) it's not the greatest backpack in terms of comfort. But for the money, it hauls a lot.

Inkista, I have the same backpack and you're right, for the money it holds alot. It can hold everything listed below as well as some filters and other little things. I can even stuff a light jacket in there. Almost too much as it can get heavy when loaded. I haven't found the perfect bag yet and I'm looking at Crumplers to see if I can find something smaller for when I want to carry less.

Well, I use my hands to carry my camera Ok, ok, real answer: I use a Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home. It's probably getting a little too small though, but I'll still probably upgrade with another Crumpler bag.

Its as good as I've ever used. Its close to three inches wide where it hangs on your shoulder, and nicely padded. Its non slip too.

They make a back pack strap set up for it too, if that your thing.

The LowePro Compudaypack holds my xt/with grip 580ex, 2-420ex's, 70-300, kit lens, 50mm 1.8, laptop and charger, memory, and still has room for my canon a630 point and shoot. No tripod atatchment though. Can be found for as little as $69.00. I really like it even though I never saw myself carrying around a back back.

I'm using a Lowepro Micro Trekker 200, an awesome backpack. Why? Cuz it is really comfortable, padded and has lots of room for lenses. It can hold my Nikon D80 attached w/300 mm lens. I love all the small pockets with clips, zippers, etc. On the outside pockets for cell phone, or other little things. There is a strap for tripod but mine is pretty heavy and I don't attach it to the backpack. Have the best hubby, he carries my tripod
Last week I climbed uphill, over rocks, holding on to roots to take shots of the waterfalls. Got my hands free, me and my camera safe for this adventure. Then I knew, this was the right backpack for me (did not like the Slingshot). Bought it for 90 (Canadian) dollars.
