Question Olympus E520 problem

I have an Olympus E520, and I'm having a problem with the machine. Turn on the machine and after a while, or if I click the Menu button, Info, Fn, ISO, AF, etc., begin to appear alternately the pictures, the menu screen, the screen information, and CF card light flashing. She usually takes pictures, but still changes screens. The button to view photos sometimes does not work. What could it be? Humidity, electronic system? Anyone know what could be.
Anyone know what could be.

Thanks,

NittyGritty

A couple of suggestions...

1. Try putting the camera in Manual mode and do a custom reset. Menu --> Custom Reset.

2. If you have an XD card, remove the CF card to see if that resolves the issue. If not place the CF card into the camera and remove the XD. Make sure to turn off and turn on the camera. If any of these combination work you may have a bad card or try re-formatting.

Otherwise, give Olympus a call, you may need to send it in for repair.

Good luck,
Jerome
