    Sister, you are not alone in that sentiment. So many are tired, not only in photographic endeavors but in other areas of life as well. Be enouraged in the fact that Christ is within you. When you have Him, you are in no way empty, but full of life and light.

    I guess to some extent, no matter how long you've been living, there is always something yet to learn...to experience. Why is it necessary for you to "translate" from photog. to spirituality? I'm not sure what that means...but certainly, you can incorporate the two, right? Better still, the photography can be used as an extension of your love for Christ. At it's foundation, this incorporation is based on a relationship with Christ.

    Look around you, what makes you thankful?, capture that. What is your favorite scripture, how can that be captured through the lens?


    check these sites out, they might inspire you. the first is Christians in the visual arts and the second is Christina Dickson's site, she's a Christian, is a missions photographer, and writes articles for DPS on occasion.

    I feel like I am experiencing the equivelent of writers block... I feel almost scared to shoot. I have the composition, the light is perfect, but i hesitate and lose the shot.... its frustrating I dont know what to do

    Oh yes, they are correlated! Just look at the themes across the Bible. We are in fellowship with the Creator, and through that primary fellowship, we use talents, gifts, to glorify God and encourage one another. I look forward to talking with you.
