My scope in only 80mm has an alt-azm mount, so although I have the fittings for the dSLR I really need the LPI for stacking and rotating. I can't wait to see what I can get once the longer nights arrive.

The mount was $1600 CND. You probably saw my Saturn shots on Flickr, too. They were taken with Celestron's LPI. I've been meaning to try some of Jupiter but just haven't gotten around to it. I've been having too much fun with my DSLR. I'm only a little further south (latitude-wise) than you are so we're also just coming out our long summer nights. Our summer was also rather crappy... rainy, cloudy, etc. Hopefully we'll get a bit of an "Indian Summer" to make up for it.

Just saw you were into astrophotography, amazing shots on flicker! I've got a smaller scope and a meade lpi but I've not had a chance to use it yet. (Summer in Scotland and the sun barely sets so even at 2 am the sky is still light, plus it's usually cloudy and raining).

What did the mount cost you, if you don't mind me asking?
