So I've been trying out the 1.4 a little more, I have to say, the contrast is much nicer. I'm finding that I'm really not even messing with that. So not regretting that purchase at all!

i spotted that one just after i posted actually.. i was pretty sure there werent any when posting. stuff here is not *really* comparable with adorama stuff IMHO.. i know i went price hunting on sb24's .. they made a typo and alled an "SP24" so i imagine anyone searching wouldnt have found it.

    anyway, i paid 250 for my sb28
..but i accepted the fixed price offer on the film set-up, so in theory its a done deal. unless it turns out the lenses have fungus or something.
200 for the whole lot including flash.. not bad really.

i dont know what happened to the video's you sent me, the PM seems to have disapeared, i went to watch them around 6:00 and the message was gone.. i dont recall deleting it. could you send it again if its not a major? thanks for the pointer

You said there were no SB-28's going used? Not sure how the price stacks up, and the auction closes in a few hours, but: Nikon SB-28 Speedlight for sale - TradeMe.co.nz - New Zealand

I figured that I'd probably wind up either using bookmaking software and exporting to PDF (I know you can do that with iPhoto) or just saving the files in Photoshop as PDFs which I'm also pretty sure is possible.

Now you see why I'm having a really hard time deciding on my topic though!

    very cool!
i have to be honest, i had to look a couple of those up.. Logolepsy sounded rather painful at first , but i think its an interesting idea.

the "fears and fetishes" is a pretty cool one too.. definatley some leeway for some "killer" self portraits

anyway, i'll zip my lip and let you decide without my pesterance.

OH! on thing thats topped me from doing it.. how on earth do you compile it as a book in the .pdf form as seen online? best i could come up with was a .psd exported to.jpeg.. but putting them together into one document...

I set up a blog for my project (it's all ready now for when I finally decide on my idea and get started... it has my top 6 project ideas on it) you can see it here: http://web.me.com/nicole.b/SoFoBoMo_09

Yeah, I know, I figured it was time I go with the "in crowd" with the other super mods and use a SP Now I think Seltzer is the only super mod hold out.

You'll just have to wait to see what my book idea is going to be... which may only be 90% because I won't be 100% certain until I start it and see how it's going. I'm working on "researching" my topic right now to see if I can come up with 35 viable ideas for shots. I'm only up to about 3 potential shots on my current idea. There's another idea I have that has about 10 possible ideas.
