Both the movies and slides are from all around the world (I would suggest Naval stations as well as a few holiday destinations). For instance he has movies and slides from Lake Tahoe in California, I am heading that way next week for a wedding and it is going to be great to see the differences between his slides and my pictures and what the years have done to the place.

No but I finally layed my greasy little paws on them a week ago. There is only one camera, a Thagee Dresden Exacta. Quite a popular item but it is in mint condition and there are a ton of different lenses and attachments for it. The main items are actually a range of old movie projectors ranging from 8mm up to 20mm and a host of movies to go with them. This man was an officer in the navy and some of the titles on the reels of film look interesting. I have not yet had time to set up any of the projectors and take a look. It appears his main focus was slides and movies. There are boxes of slides dating back to the late 1940's complete with the old slide projectors and equipment. Along with the movie projectors is an emaculate splicing kit! There are three very old movie cameras complete with lenses, filters and attachments! When i have more time i will post pictures of this little haul for everyone to see.

Actually it was both. I was going over on vacation, made some calls, pitched some proposals and actually made money off the deal, while the clients paid for the trip, expenses and $$$$ to boot.

I have to admit that I just ran out of things to do with it. What I DID do is find some beautiful picture frames with a Navy insignia and an American flag on them and sent one to my mother. I need to make another to send to my grandmother, so it may be time to experiment with the "Lighting Glass" section of the lighting magic book.

I've been so lazy this summer, thanks for the nudge!

Mr Guy, months ago, you posted "Newsprint to New prints" which I missed first time around. A terrific photo, I wondered if you have since added to its "newness?"
