Tnx for your comments in my posts..the last reply in my niece’s shot was in Filipino..i already posted the translation..lol..have I mentioned that my last name is Trinidad?..my classmates in kindergarden always teased me that I came from Trinidad & Tobago..haha..which I don’t mind coz your country is beautiful basing from your shot..

    Hi Michael, Well you have a Great Camera, but you are correct the lenses are the limiting factor. Not that the kit lenses are bad. The lens I used for this photo is a Sigma 105mm /2.8 EX DG Macro. I also use a 25mm Canon extension tube. I also have a Sigma 180mm f/3.5 EX, DG, HSM Macro lens that Is a wonderful lens as well; Which I sometimes use with a 1.4 extender. Prime lenses are always going to produce better results and with all that resolution you have, you need some good glass.
    I've seen your posts and you have a lot of talent and a great eye. When you can get a good macro lens either the Canon f/2.8 or the Sigma. I chose Sigma because of the reviews and price.
