You are right: I did want to start a new thread. I finally figured out what I had done, deleted the reply in your thread and started a new one. This time I seem to have gotten it right. Thanks for letting me know that I had replied to your thread, and best of luck to you.

Hi, great idea! I would love to post a picture of my Bonneville but have no digital images of it. I will endeavour to find a conventional photograph, scan it in and post.
    Cheers

    hi ac
funny thing is that some time back 1970s fender strats were frowned upon but they fetch bigger bucks now.Thing is ac you have to keep at it i am sure you could get there!!. Maybe i feel a thread coming on for the oldest object that you have or to that effect. Maybe i will dig out a few pics of my axe and do a post. Its funny i got this in 1975 for £199.00 and blew my student grant but it was worth it.
    thanks

Hey thanks for the tip - I do want to get a decent book so I'll look out for that one in Borders next time I'm there. It's always good to get a recommendation, many thanks. I also laughed when I saw your comment about your Peeping Tom thread! Sorry, I hadn't seen your one, I had no idea I was duplicating a title!
