    Art, fall coloring is just starting in quebec city area, i took a few colorful shots yesterday. It will be beautifull in the next few weeks and a bit later in Montreal.

    Art, Quebec is at end of september and begining of october. Montreal around the second week of october and i would believe that toronto and niagara would be later since they are at a lower latitude so a bit warmer.
    Look up on the web the color festivals organized around these cities for that time frame period. Mabe you wont find anything on the cities themselvs but the suburban regions of each of those city would have some sort of color festival see this one for Quebec http://www.quebecregion.com/e/autmn.asp

    Hello Art,

    Usually change of color in the leafs occurs in september but that all depends on the area you are in, it could shift a few weeks.

    HDR is short for High Dynamic Range. Generally its several different images all at different exposure levels and then combined to give you all the different ranges of tones. If not overdone is very beautiful

    I dont think it was about how they were posted cause that was fine. If I remeber right, it was in regards to how the whales were positioned in the water
