A caterpillar on the leaf

I am interested if the DPF is too shallow on this picture. And also if the composition is right?

I like the composition - I might have nudged the hairy little thing over to the right a touch, to put him on the third and reveal a little more leaf.

The yellow edge to the leaf detracts from the colours of the caterpillar - you might try burning that one in a little to lessen the intensity.

DOF and bokeh are great!

Wow... I love the composition. Perhaps just slightly to the right, as mentioned above, but my first reaction was that it was so artistic looking... the curve of the caterpiller works beautifully with the leaf. And I think DOF is great. You got the intense fuzziness of his hair (fuzz, fur?) which contrast nicely withe soft background.

dof is great and composition is also pretty good, as others have said, move it a little to the right and get a little more leaf in the shot, but other than that great job!!
