This is one of a set of nature photos I took recently. I'm looking for feedback on composition and lighting. Does it draw your eye? Is the background too bright?

For post-processing, I upped the contrast, clarity, and vibrance, brightened it, and sharpened it.

I am in the learning process also, but I wanted to answer your post. I have to say the colors of the leaf draws my attention right to it. The contrast of it is perfect (in my eyes) and also love the shallow DOF. Personally I think that makes a photo really stand out at times. Especially when there is a lot in the photo. Hope this helps some. Great shot by the way!!!

I love this photo! To me the composition is right, the colors work together and it does bring your attention to the leaf. Very fall feeling.....great job!

Great shot, beautifully composed and wonderful light transmitted through the leaf. I do feel the background is a bit blown out. I wonder, if you did't brighten the picture in order to maintain a some background detail, but rather selectively dodged just the leaf if the appearance would be more attractive.
