Wink Grasshopper on a pod.

I captured this picture in Powell Gardens in Kansas City. This is one of my favorite Micro photographs, however, there's always room for improvements. Any suggestions on how I could improve this photograph? Thanks in advance!!

I really like it. It might be an even better shot in a portrait crop, though.

I really like the colors and the grasshopper on the purple pod is also good. I think there is too much surrounding the subject though. Go for a tighter crop. Hope this is of some help.

Not to be picky but I would like a bit more space at the bottom. Overall I really like the new crop! Good work!

Default cirtique

It would look great if it had some more space at the bottom and probably a little skinnier on the portrait crop. It looks a little too close to square.

Either way, I like it!
