Default Lighting set up for four?

Hello all,
First time in the studio after a few classes with a single person. Would lighting be the same for 4 people as it is for 1? I hope to do a high key set up with 4 lights.
Thank you all!
Kim

In a general sense yes, it is the same - well actually better said, your goal is the same, how your get there will be different. One thing, you will probably have to increase the distance between the subjects and the flash so the flash can cover a wider area. That tends to make the shadows a little more pronounced but you balace it with your fill light or reflectors. Moving the light back will mean you will probably have to increase the power output of the strobes or open your aperture. At a time when you want greater depth of field to ensure all 4 of your subjects are sharp, your opening up the aperture. Probably the most fun you will have is keeping the shadows from the subjects off another subject. That gets tough because they are in close proximity to each other and your fill light and reflectors can get in their and do their job as easily. That's solved by modeling the light ahread of time or shooting and adjusting. Good luck and have fun!
