Ok here's my situation, I'm trying to set up a continuous light rig with an Westcott 32in Umbrella, a big 105 Watt EIKO Bulb, and a Tripod/ what ever else will work as a stand ect.. and some clamps/what ever else I need to rig this together ect.. I have a clamp light that I removed the silver bowl for a Ballast.
So here I am with almost everything I need to set this up and now I'm stumped. Anyone have a similar set up? Or any advice to how I can put this together to make a functioning light rig? I'm feeling a bit discouraged and ready to return the stuff I've bought (with about $60 more I could just buy a one light set up). Should I just toss the idea of setting it up on a stand and try to use a simple diffuser in front of the light? My tripod is too flimsy and short anyways. I feel like I'm half way there, and I've been doing my DIY homework, but I'm just scrambled at this point and not much of a craftsman anyways (should have thought about that more before I started lol) Any help will be much appreciated.

Bueller... Bueller....lol
![]() Update... Back to the drawing board, taking stuff back to the store, investing in taking my Flash off Camera instead of going with continuous light. Thanks!

you should post some pictures of what you are trying to work with. Hard to give advice with out actually seeing what you are using.
