Default Halloween Lighting

Halloween Lighting

I’m heading to a costume partyat the end of the month and I’m thinking about shooting some scary portraits. I have the ability to fire 2 speed-lights (sb-900, sb-600, assorted gels) off camera (D300) and I have 1 umbrella/stand. Can anyone suggest a lighting setup for “scary” photos?

Clamshell or cross lighting with 2 colors of light has some really neat effects! I've used that before, with the right color gels, it could be "scary."

Panasonic Lumix TZ-3 Yeah, I have optical image stabilization and a 10X lens, it also fits in my pocket.
