Smile Flash

Hi

I was at an Air Show today (Saturday) and I was wondering If I should use flash for photographs of aeroplanes/helicopters that are on the ground for display.

I will post some photos of aeroplanes and helicopters in this thread within a few weeks.

PS : How do I post polls as when i ticked the box, nothing happened and when i previewed there was no poll there.

Thanks in Advance, I really appreciate your feedback.

I'm not sure why you received no response. But, for me, when I read your inital (non-edited) post a few days ago, I thought you said that you'd post some photos either later that day or on Sunday. If my memory is faulty, I apologize. Since I find it much easier to first view a photo before deciding whether or not I can help, I assumed that when I saw your photos, I or others would respond at that time. No photos posted yet, so I'm still not sure if I can help or not.

Also, what kind of flash are you using? On board pop up? Hot shoe mounted? A single off camera flash? Multiple off camera flashes with light modifiers, stands, etc.? Providing detailed info like this should also help others answer your question.

Finally, if no one responds, simply adding a reply with a friendly plea for assistance will both bump your thread back to the top and will be more well received than typing in all caps.

I've never tried creating a poll, so I can't help with that.

My 2 cents. Others may have different opinions.

With the number of posts in this forum, frankly very few people remember to check back in a few weeks. It'll be much easier for us to reply when you post whenever you have everything ready to post. If you want to include images, wait until you have them, then post.

Yeah, it's a bit strange. It doesn't show up in the preview, but when you keep it checked and create the post you can edit the poll.
