Default Did I go crazy? Am I a lighting addict?

Well it was sorta an impulse buy and something I have wanted for a while. Last night I bought a used Nikon SB-24, Impact mobile background stand, some more flash gels, and an umbrella bracket. I got the SB-24 after reading http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/04...kon-sb-24.html

So now I have a mobile 2 flash umbrella setup It consists of.

Flashes:
Nikon SB-24 (Cactus V4): Guide number (ISO 100, in): 164(ft), 50 (m) at 85mm Power 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16
Vivitar DF400mz (optical trigger): Guide Number (ISO 100): 131, 40m feet at 85mm Power 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16
Vivitar 2500(Cactus v4 "When I get a second receiver"): Guide Number (ISO 100 80 ft at 50mm 84 feet at 105mm Power 1/1, 1/16
Canon 580 EX II

Communication:
Cactus v4 Transmitter receiver set:
Optical trigger

Light modifiers:
Rosco Cingel and Roscolux Swatchbooks
2x Smith and Victor 36 inch umbrellas white shoot through
2x 40 inch silver reflective umbrellas.
Good old cardboard snoots and flags.

Support:
3x Smith and victor 8 feet light stands
2x Impact umbrella brackets
1x Smith and Victor mini boom arm
1x Impact Background stand
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...YSTEM_12_.html

Backdrops:
Home made muslin backdrops 5 feet x 12 feet White and very dark navy blue, and a black and whit 10x12 background.

I still either need to find a long pc cable or get another cactus trigger receiver and I will have a 3 flash setup for right now 2 flashes are fine.

Think I am crazy?

Crazy, we are photographers, the word crazy is not applicable!

I'm slowly starting to build up my little arsenal.

Due to the fact that i only have some ebay triggers and a Sigma Super 500, I would just say that you have more fire power.

Thats a nice "little" setup you got there.

Nah, you're just getting started. Wait until you start collecting black and white foamcore boards, plexiglas sheets and mirrors, gaffer's tape, PVC boards, ripstop nylon, T-main clamps, cereal boxes, shiny and colored foil, matte and gloss spray paints,...

Then you start wanting to buy stuff, not because you want it, but because it will photograph well. Metal statues, sunglasses,...

Well, i have seen situations when a dude got horribly wounded fighting with a gun against someone with a knife. ...in a TV

Seriously, i will have wish to have come to that level were i already know how to use lighting gears. For the moment, I'm just targeting a glass: EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM. The rest will come in its time. (that i wish to be soooonnn enough!!! Am i addicted? )
