HI, I will be shooting a semi formal small prom at a hotel for a homeschooling group and since I mainly use natural light and outdoors, I need alittle help with what lighting would be best.
I have time before the prom since it's next year and I will need to purchase the set up and get used to it. Any and all help is appreciated! This is my first prom so I've been trying to read up on EVERYTHING I can to make sure it goes smoothly as possible! Thanks! |

Do you have a budget for lighting? Are you leaning towards renting something or buying something?
On the entry level site this kit that Scott linked in another thread seems like a set to get by on the cheap... 540W STROBE STUDIO FLASH LIGHT KIT LIGHTING PHOTOGRAPHY | eBay So definitely some limitations to this kit and I have not actually seen/used this particular set - but from the description it should be able to do the job. Or there's always this if you're thinking on getting something a tad better... http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._1000_W_S.html Last edited by zona5101; 07-20-2011 at 07:04 PM. |
