Default Inexpensive Speedlite

Can anyone recommend a decent quality, inexpensive speedlite? I'm looking for something with an optical slave that will trigger off of my SB-600. It will be used off-camera and manual controls are fine. If you could provide a link that would be great!
Thanks!

The yongnuo yn-460 and yn-560 from gadget infinity are pretty cheap and powerful manual flashes with slave functions. QC can be a bit of an issue especially with shipping to and from China. A step up in the QC and service would be the lumopro lp160. Great service from mpex.

Here's something stateside.

LumoPro LP160 Manual Flash

I've ordered plenty of things from mpex and have always been satisfied with their customer service as well as the quality of the products.

Yeah, the yongnuo stuff is from their eBay store, or through various resellers (there are even a few on Amazon).

I'd also recommend looking at speedlights.net.

They list a bunch of iTTL-compatible speedlights, too:

Flash for Nikon - Nikon speedlights and cheap alternatives | Speedlights.net

And their reviews are pretty thorough on what function they have and what functions they don't both on and off camera.

I've also got the LP160 - no problems to-date.

Cool I trust them more than ebay... Maybe when the YN-565 is released I can talk my wife into letting me pick one up. However I am already expecting then You already have enough flashes speech. I want the ttl slave feature for run and gun situations in combination with my 580EXII.

BTW I second the LP-160.. I love mine..

GI told me they only offer 30 days warranty for non GI branded products. i asked them thinking I could order the 560 along with some V5's.

buying from hkyongnuophoto seller (the only official YN seller) will get you 1 year.
