Default Just ordered 2 new brollies!

I've got a lasterlite 32" already which is just too small and feeble so I ordered a Wescott 60" and Wescott 43" with removabe black cover. I couldn't decide which one to have so as usual I ordered BOTH. Can't wait to try them out.

Anyone use these umbrellas? It would be good to hear your tips.

I know this probably sound totally weird but I'm going to practice on one of my daughters "styling heads". I just can't rely on my family to pose without fights breaking out because they lose patience with me

wescott makes good gear. You'll be surprised how big a 5 foot umbrella is. I have one and it is awesome but sometimes it's hard to get up enough and angled to a standing person. The converable umbrellas are nice - you can get them in closer than when they are set up to bounce. You are going to have fun playing around with them!

Thank you Bruce! I've got my mother-in-law staying here for the weekend and I really should start vaccuuming but I'm worried that I'll miss the doorbell ring for the brollies. There is nothing more annoying than going to the bathroom/making a cup of coffee/hanging out washing etc and miss the postman only to find a "we called but you were out" card left on the doormat. I am not taking any chances.

Oh I know. When I have something coming I am watching the tracking info...love when it says "out for delivery". My UPS guy always seems to come between 1 and 2pm so I usually take a late lunch those days and head home

Your right there Bruce. I work between 11.30 and 1.30 (which are normally the delivery times ) and at 12pm I had to to speak to the receptionist about something and lo and behold there was the City Link guy. I asked if we was going anywhere near my address and he checked his delivery sheet and said he had something in van for me so that was a bonus. Phew.

I've only got the 60" brolly the other one is coming tomorrow by Royal Mail but that's not such a hassle if I'm out because I can just go the PO and collect it.

I unwrapped the unbrella and it's huge! and I know it will make an awesome prop for my daughter. She is going to love it! Can't wait to see her strut round the garden weilding that Mother Hubbard
