Default TT1 vs. TT5

I've been doing quite a bit of research on the Pocket Wizard Mini TT1 and Flex TT5. I haven't been able to find an answer to why I shouldn't pay an extra $20 and get a TT5 to mount on my camera to go along with one for the flash. The TT1 is $199 and the TT5 is $220. Basically, doesn't the TT5 have the features that make it worth using on camera as well as on the flash for only $20 more?

The TT1 is strictly a transmitter and weighs considerably less than the TT5 transceiver not to mention it's much more compact in size. It can be used to transmit to any other pocket wizard receiver as well. So for those reasons I could see where having the TT1 could be preferred. Consider the weight of the camera body, camera battery grip, a 70-200mm lens or larger, a TT5 + 2AA batteries - as you can imagine it starts to get heavy. However, I can also appreciate the value of simply using 2X TT5's for the extra capabilities.

+1 on Neil vN's battery suggestion. Yes, the TT5 can do everything that the TT1 can do, plus it can be used as a receiver. These were my reasons for purchase four TT5's during WPPI this year.

This is just rumor, but I recall someone saying the TT5 had greater transmit range (take that with a grain of salt).
