Default Natural Lightning

I have taken some pics of natural lightning at night , the pics have shown a over the top amount of light spots when this strike's the earth causing this occourance in certain areas ....... is there any thing a can do ??

Hi and welcome.
A picture of what you are describing would be very helpful but in the mean time... since i am not sure i understand, let me try and restate...you're taking pics at night, maybe of stars , maybe of moon-lit landscapes...in the pics the area of the ground is overexposed or has bright highlights either because of reflection or or concentration of light.
You can try a graduated filter installed with the graduation down or you can apply a graduated filter or similar effect in post.

mm sorry . i have taken the pic of a lightning strike , when doing the post production of the pic parts of the pic came up to bright . like a overexposed part of the pic . i can only think that the brightess of the lightning strike in certain areas was to much ......... can send you a pic , it may be easier

the lighting is causing the over exposure on other earth elements...same solution(s)
