Default Looking for a book

I am looking for some good books that will help me with learning some more about using lighting.
Has anyone got any to recommend? I would prefer something that is an easier read (mostly because I am a hands on kinda learner ... )
Thanks!

For what type of lighting? Portrait, product, still-life?

Oooops sorry. For portraiture, indoor. (for now) All of my shots have been outdoors using natural light so far and I have new lights coming and would like some help in getting to use them right!
Thanks!

How about a DVD made from a book? Scott Kelby has tons of learning stuff out there, and I always recommend his photography books to my beginners and intermediates.

This past year, he took a few pages from a couple of his books and created a DVD called "Photo Recipes Live: Behind The Scenes". It takes you "On Location" with Scott as he makes photographs.. showing you camera settings and light set-ups. It is very conversational, very "hands-on".

He has released a second DVD to this series.. I have not had a chance to see that one yet. But the first one, excellent.

I have a couple of other books that I have to find and I will list them for you later.

Though I haven't read it yet, one that I've seen recommended over and over is Amazon.com: Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting (9780240808192): Fil Hunter, Steven Biver, Paul Fuqua: Books.

Awesome! Please drop me a line and let me know what you think when you get them. I sat here and re-watched them today. Still like them. Kinda like standing with a pro on a shoot and having him kinda tell you what to do and what works.
