Default Bowens v. Flashpoint Monolights

I want to start into lighting (for Fashion Photography) but I have a tight budget right now and want to get some monolights for working both indoor and on location.

Which monolight kit would be better? I've been looking at the Flashpoint and Bowens kits and have settled down on these two:

The Bowens: BW4313US Bowens Esprit Gemini 200 Studio In A Box Kit

and the Flashpoint: FP620MPWK Flashpoint 620M Portrait Wedding Monolight Kit, with Two 620M Monolights, Stands, Umbrellas, Snoot , Etc.

Also, I know I would need a battery pack for either kit, so what would be a good pack to start with?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome
Just on paper the Flashpoint would be the choice. I know they are a private label or exclusive to Adorama. Nothing wrong with that as Adorama is a great shop. Just wonder what the range of light modifiers/rings/ etc available. The Bowens style mount is also used on Calumet and Photoflex so there is a good number of light modifiers available.
Back on the plus side, looks like the Flashpoint already has a DC pack designed for it. That is nice.
Functionally it appears* the flashpoint unit produces more light. That is good especially when you have to light a bigger area or use light modifiers that eat gobs of light.
Also check out Alien Bees, Photoflex and Calumet. All make decent semi-pro lighting gear.
Good luck in your quest.
