Question Easyshare software?

I have gotten used to using Kodak Easyshare software to edit my photos a bit, as I don't have photoshop.
Question:
Can I use this with other brands of cameras or does it have to be a Kodak??
I have only been playing with digital a few months, and already want a better camera..........

Probably. Find a picture from somewhere else and see if you can load it in. If you can, then you are good to go with any source of images.

Yes you can. My daughter's kodak died and we bought a Nikon Coolpic but she was used to the easyshare software so just continues to use it.

Default Thanks!

Thank you muchly!
Now I can start saving my pennies for a better camera.
My kodak has started insisting that the internal memory is full and refusing to take more pics, even tho I have a memory card installed.

Yes, I used to use EasyShare because my friend had a Kodak camera and I liked the software. Then I discovered Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition (free) and haven't used the Kodak software since!

Default Internal Memory Full

The Kodak camera have a menu feature that allows you to switch from internal to memory card and back. If it is set to "Internal" it will not see the memory card. I run a Z712IS (Kodak) as my point and shoot and this is something I am always changing.

Thumbs up Thanx Hazmat

Have/had no idea what I'm doing since I lost (or misplaced) my instruction manual. Found the online manual, and re-set the memory to automatic instead of internal. Hope that fixes it!!!

Got Easyshare with my camera, but only used it 3 times or so, simply not enough features I think...
