This was such a quick and simple project. I had a lot of fun with it. I will be looking for some other light sources for another round. You can see a few of my images below. The middle one is my favorite!

I tried this alittle last night and my only question is manual/auto focus?? mine dont seem as sharp/crisp. of course my flashlight had 3 small led bulbs which was probably the problem though it gave it a cool effect I thought.

also did tissue paper over to change colors though that really makes it blurry but I loved the pattern

Default Awesome

Awesome. Looks just like the stuff I used to do on grid paper when I was a kid. Just these are much nicer. Really like the colors and crisp images. Thanks for sharing.

manual focus is a must or the camera will go crazy trying to autofocus.

one way i got around this:
[1] set your camera on autofocus
[2] hold your hand at the hight of the flashlight above your camera
[3] take a quick picture of your hand, using the autofocus.
[4] now turn your camera to manual without moving your camera or bumping the lens.

your camera should now be set to focus on your flashlight.
